What to do when someone is sad? Stories about feelings for daycare and elementary school
First, a friend cries or needs help... and then what? Children often have to learn how to treat their playmates with compassion and how to successfully comfort and support them. This set of picture cards contains a total of nine scenes from children's everyday lives, in which help is given or empathy is shown in other forms. The goal of the game is to sort and organize the sequences on the cards in the correct order. This trains emotional competence and logical thinking in equal measure!
Always in order: Order short picture stories about feelings correctly
What's happening in the pictures? In what order should the cards be laid out to make the story correct? What do the children feel, and how do they act? With this game, children ages four and up practice sorting and organizing sequences of action and events. If they're ever unsure, don't worry: A prompt question from the accompanying booklet is sure to help! With a little practice, laying out the picture cards in order will undoubtedly soon become easier. This not only promotes visual perception but also social-emotional development!
